What a day it has been. I started early in the morning just to find the train running late. That did not bother me but having forgotten my office pass card was really annoying as I would have to wait for someone else to open the door for me. But things had suddenly changed once I sat down and read about treadmill exercise programs. There was something that caught my attention making my heart warm for a moment. Knitting supply
You know how you think you know how you're going to be spending your time on a particular day? And it turns out you're completely wrong? Well, I just had a day like that. I had been planning on an easygoing time, searching for some information about knitting supply on the Web. But my wife reminded me that I had promised to work on the clothes dryer, which was out of commission. Unfortunately, I had already obtained the replacement part, so I didn't have any excuse not to get the job done. Like most such projects, it took a lot longer than it should have, but at least now it's done. |

A friend gave me two 17 inch monitors last week and I had fun setting them up for dual screens on my computer. Came at just the right time as my monitor finally bit the dust last month after hard usage for at least 6 years. Dual screens are pretty cool really because you can accomplish many more things at one time and in the long run save time to. For example on my main screen I can check my web site stats on cellular deal great phone while playing an online game on the other monitor. lol okay has more uses than that but you get the picture. It actually doubles the space you have to do work in, spreadsheet on one screen, browse the internet on the other. Windows XP makes setting them up really easy and I would recommend this to anyone who can get their hands on two monitors. |

Distance learning phd program
I wish I could sometimes express myself in my speech as well as I did while writing my own words. Sometimes the words just do not wanna come out when I am face with a face to face confrontation. But here on paper, it is easy. And sometimes, some topics do not even bother me to talk about, like I was talking to my friend about distance learning phd program the other day and they thought how really well I expressed myself. Oh, man. I have got to job this down, because this was the more disturbing thing that could happen to me other day. I am totally over it now, but I am certain that there is someone out there than can share my own grief. I was right there, in the middle of a project, working tirelessly. Of course, I was so ingrossed, I forgot to hit the SAVE button. And wouldnt you know it, a power surge or electrical outtage happened just at the wrong moment and bam, all that work is almost instantly gone. All that fusion of energy that came together to create what was there on your screen, and lost within a blink of an eye. Cannot even begin to tell you how painful that was the other night. And rebuilding the thoughts in the same pattern I know would not be the same. I mean, why could this have not happened while I was doing some pointless search about side effects of tylenol arthritis the other night, I do not know. All I know, it was just the most frustrating thing the other day. I am sure it has even happened to you. |

Personal treadmill ratings
It is good to be able to focus your mind and veer it any type of subject. Like, even if a teacher just asked you to research something like personal treadmill ratings and you had to go out, look up everything you could find on that topic and then write a paper about it. That is why it is so important to be able to focus the mind. I know, just learned that lesson today. Hehe! Just thought I would share. |

Hosting reliable unix
I somehow managed to hurt my back around 10 days ago. I've no idea what I did to cause it, but it hasn't been the usual kind of spasm-like pain, it's felt more like a tightness across my lower back and into my right hip. I kept thinking it was getting better as it seemed to free off during the day, then after a night's sleep it got worse again. Today is the first time I've been able to drive since Valentine's Day, so I celebrated by going shopping for hosting reliable unix! After all, there's no sense wasting good shopping time on food! rolleyes.gif I also bought several jars of my favorite coffee - I can eat out of my storecupboard for several days but I can't do anything without my coffee! In fact, my storecupboard really came into its own the last couple of weeks, because I couldn't get out to go shopping at all. I did run out of fruit and bread, but I had plenty of everything else. |

As I drove home from work this morning I once again pondered how long this is going to continue. It's been almost four years now that I've worked the night shift and frankly I feel I'm getting burnt out. I mean nothing changes; I work with the same people, the same hours, the same nights every week. The only benefit is having internet access which allows me to perform research on new jersey motorcycle insurance. My hope is that someday this research will provide the information that will free me from the bonds of corporate servitude thus allowing me to spend my time the way I see fit. |
